Nancy O'Dell's career began in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news with WPDE-TV. Later, she was a morning reporter and anchor for WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by her colleagues at the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award all media South Carolina. O'Dell later worked at the Miami-based station of NBC WTVJ-TV as an investigative reporter and anchor, prior to her joining Access Hollywood in the role as a weekend anchor. O'Dell is a leading anchor at Access Hollywood. In addition, she contributes to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC.
